GENESIS: PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS ANNOUNCES APRIL STEMSTAR

Batesville, Indiana – Genesis: Pathways to Success (GPS) is pleased to present its April STEMstar, Jeremiah Loehmer!

Loehmer teaches Art and Lego Mindstorms at Milan Elementary School and Introduction to Engineering at Milan High School. Loehmer is also the coach for Milan Middle School’s Rube Goldberg team and coached Milan’s inaugural archery team.

“Mr. Loehmer ignites a passion in his students as he facilitates hands-on, problem-solving and STEM-based activities,” Superintendent Jane Rogers, who recommended Loehmer for this honor, said. “Through teamwork, Mr. Loehmer guides inquiry so students become critical thinkers of real-world situations. He makes learning fun!”

Loehmer graduated from Purdue University and has taught at Milan for fourteen years. He enjoys hunting and is a Chicago Cubs fan.
