Earlier this week, the Batesville Memorial Public Library was awarded $7,000 from the Ripley County Community Foundation’s Flora Fund. The purpose of the Flora Fund is to support the beautification of downtown Batesville. The grant will help the library purchase varying species of trees to be planted in the downtown area to further beautify Batesville.
