Ripley County Community Foundation Awards Grants

In June, the Ripley County Community Foundation was busy connecting people who care with causes that matter! The Foundation awarded small grants for its 2nd Small Grant cycle of the year. The Foundation provided 7 grants for a total of $3,183 as recommended by the Small Grants Committee. These grants helped several local organizations fund projects. The Town of Versailles received a grant to support the Town Banner Project, Summer Food for Kids of Batesville received funding for food, South Ripley Elementary School was granted funding for and education program called “Supplements for Successful Students”, the YMCA received funds to help promote safe sleep and raise awareness of SUIDS, Kids Discovery Factory received funding for a new sign, Milan Youth Soccer received funding for field marking kits, Main Street Versailles was awarded a grant for a projector to use for Movies in the Park, Friends of Versailles State Park was granted funding for glass enclosures for their displays, and the Child Evangelism Fellowship obtained a grant for a portable speaker.
