Welcome Brady Westerfeld as Grants Manager

The Ripley County Community Foundation is proud to announce the addition of Brady Westerfeld to its team as the new Grants Manager, marking an exciting step forward in strengthening the Foundation’s commitment to local philanthropy and community impact.

Brady first joined the Community Foundation in the summer of 2024 as an intern, where he quickly demonstrated a strong work ethic, a passion for service, and a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life in Ripley County. His return in a full-time role reflects both his professional growth and the value he brings to the organization’s mission-driven work. Brady’s ability to connect with community partners, think strategically about nonprofit needs, and approach challenges with curiosity and enthusiasm makes him a valuable asset to the Foundation and the broader community it serves.

“Returning to the Community Foundation feels like coming home,” shared Westerfeld. “During my internship, I saw firsthand how thoughtful philanthropy can transform lives, and I’m honored to now play a larger role in that impact.”

Brady graduated from Indiana University in 2025 with a degree in sports marketing and business. His educational background, paired with his hands-on experience at the Foundation, positions him well to support both donors and nonprofit organizations in meaningful and effective ways. Outside of work, Brady enjoys playing golf, spending time outdoors, and connecting with friends and family.

In his role as Grants Manager, Brady will work closely with nonprofit organizations and donors across Ripley County to support impactful initiatives, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that charitable resources are invested in ways that create lasting change.

“I’m excited to work alongside local nonprofits and learn from the dedicated leaders who are making Ripley County stronger every day,” Westerfeld said. “There is so much passion in this community, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that helps bring good ideas to life.”

The Ripley County Community Foundation not only benefits from Brady’s energy and perspective but also provides a strong foundation for him as he begins his professional career. Through mentorship, meaningful responsibility, and exposure to a wide range of community initiatives, the Community Foundation offers Brady a unique opportunity to grow as a leader while making a tangible difference close to home.

“This role is an incredible opportunity to begin my career in a place where I can both learn and contribute,” Westerfeld added. “The Community Foundation invests in people just as much as it invests in programs, and I’m thankful to be part of an organization that believes in developing the next generation of community leaders.”

“Brady’s journey from intern to Grants Manager is a testament to his dedication and potential,” said Amy Streator, Executive Director of the Ripley County Community Foundation. “He brings a thoughtful approach, a willingness to learn, and an energy that strengthens our entire organization. We are excited to invest in his growth as a professional while he helps advance our mission of building a stronger Ripley County.”
