Enbridge: Pollinator Gardens & Trees for A Greener Tomorrow

In 2020, Ripley Youth Outreach received a $10,200 Enbridge Grant to install and maintain pollinator gardens and to plant approximately 400 indigenious trees around Ripley County.

In the Spring of 2021, near Earth Day and Arbor Day, Ripley Youth Outreach involved local youth organizations and established several partnerships to plant trees and pollinator gardens to help make Ripley County green.

Flora Fund (Batesville Memorial Library)

The Flora Fund supports the beautification of downtown Batesville.  In 2019, the grant was awarded to the Batesville Memorial Library to plant trees in the Flodder lot, which initiated the process of developing a Reading Garden for the library and community.

 

Bradt Natural Area Fund (Versailles State Park)

The Bradt Natural Area Fund was established to support the development and maintenance of the Bradt Family Farm portion of the Versailles State Park as an exhibit of early Indiana landscape as an educational resource to park visitors.   The Bradt Family wants the natural area to serve as an educational resource to local citizens so that they can have the opportunity to experience the natural Indiana landscape.
