Turnover Hunger

Established in 2017, Batesville High School and Oldenburg Academy Varsity Football players pledged to feed hungry children in Ripley County.  In 2020, the Milan High School Varsity Football players joined this effort. The players pledge to force as many turnovers as possible, and donors pledge a dollar amount to donate for every turnover the football team of their choosing forces during the season. The donations support the Weekend BackSack Program at Ripley County’s 5 public elementary schools.  The Weekend BackSack Program ensures that our most vulnerable children have access to nutritious food on non-school days.
