Crum-Herman Memorial Fund & Tarter Community Trust Fund Awarded to Osgood Organizations

Both the Louise B. Crum & Ray E. Herman Memorial Endowment Fund and the Frank Tarter Community Trust Fund were established to improve the quality and enjoyment of life for the residents of Osgood and the rural community surrounding Osgood.

This year, the Louis B. Crum & Ray E. Herman Memorial Endowment Fund was awarded to the following organizations:

  • Ripley County 4-H Corporation Board ($1,000) – to design and install stone floor for the new livestock barn
  • Ripley County Humane Society ($2,000) – to provide a paved outdoor space for dogs

The Frank Tarter Community Trust Fund was awarded to the following organizations:

  • Child Evangelism Fellowship ($750) – to support Good News Club and summer camps
  • Delaware Community Volunteer Fire Department ($2,200) – to purchase a PPE Bunker Gear Washer
  • Osgood Beautification & Main Street Development ($2,000) – to buy new street Christmas decorations for the town of Osgood
  • Osgood Lion’s Club ($1,800) – to assist with purchasing flowers, flags, and supplies for a food tent
  • Ripley County Food Pantry ($500) – to purchase food for the Ripley County Food Pantry
  • Town of Osgood ($750) – to aid in the Acoustic Leak Detector project
