Reflecting on the Year 2019

Over the course of 2019, the Ripley County Community Foundation has continued, “Connecting People Who Care with Causes that Matter,” through various grants and scholarships.  We have been able to provide organizations across Ripley County with endless opportunities to support our community, thanks to these funds.  For the year of 2019, the Community Foundation has distributed the following to organizations across Ripley County:

  • $161,522.08 through 80 Distribution Grants
  • $70,324.99 through 61 Scholarships
  • $65,530.00 through 18 Large Grants
  • $13,000.00 through 12 Proactive Grants
  • $9,798.48 through 20 Small Grants
  • $5,000.00 through 11 Pass-Thru Grants on behalf of Hillenbrand
  • $3,270.00 through 15 Sponsorships

In total, the Ripley County Community Foundation has distributed $328,445.55 across Ripley County!  A portion of the funds benefited local projects, such as CPR Equipment at Milan Community School Corporation, Turnover Hunger (Batesville High School and Oldenburg Academy) for local food Pantries, and Discovery Camp for Special Olympics Indiana – ROD.  These distributions would not be possible without supporters like you.  We appreciate your generosity and continuous support that allows us to enhance our communities. Thank you for another successful year!
