Tammy Pickett was a lifelong resident of Ripley County who cherished her family and friends. Tammy tragically passed away on December 5, 2018 in a car accident. Tammy’s love for her community will live on through the “Tammy Pickett Memorial Scholarship” which was established in 2019 by her family. Tammy had a love of the outdoors; she had the most beautiful flower gardens, and was often seen tending to her vegetable garden. Tammy shared her passion for nature by offering helpful hints, or by sharing her garden goodies with all. It is the hope of her family that this scholarship will provide an opportunity for eager, South Ripley students to pursue their dreams!
