Peetz Family Charitable Giving Fund

The Peetz Family Charitable Giving Fund is a Donor Advised Fund which gives the Peetz’s the ability to identify opportunities present in their community and the flexibility to adjust the beneficiaries of their fund with the passage of time.  Ben Peetz commented, “I am a lifelong resident of Ripley County, and Danielle has felt so welcomed into this community as well – both during her time working in the county courthouse, as well as during our tenure now as local businessowners. We have seen the great things that people in this area can accomplish, and the Foundation’s programs are a great way to support those impacts across the entire county.” Ben further noted that “my experience serving on the Napoleon Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years has shown me how a group of dedicated individuals can have a real impact on the community’s needs, and sometimes the support from a grant program through an organization like the Foundation can be the catalyst needed to really move a project to fruition.”

A donor advised fund aligned with Ben and Danielle’s desire to pass down their philosophy of “Give Where You Live” to their daughter, Allie. Allie will have the ability to learn how to be a thoughtful changemaker within her community, as she will be a key player in discerning what the grants from the Peetz Family Charitable Giving Fund will support and why.“As a member of the Board of Directors, I felt the best way to demonstrate our belief in the work of the Foundation and encourage others to support the mission was to establish a giving fund ourselves that can become a legacy for supporting public service efforts into the future.”

“We are blessed in our own lives with so many opportunities. This enables us to turn around and share that good fortune with others. The Foundation is a great way to do that in our community by supporting others who want to give back in any of a variety of ways.”
